If you’re looking for your typical doing as they're told, sounding the same as everyone else kind of rappers then you're definitely looking in the wrong place. Monster Florence as a collective, are by far one of the most interesting and exciting acts within the music industry right now. Not only are they bringing us intelligent lyrics along with some sick instrumentals, they are also creating their own individual sound within rap. ‘Bad Gear’ proves exactly this.

Now I hate to say it, but…I TOLD YOU SO! After seeing the visuals for ‘Resourceful’ and...

Many of you probably heard this song when it first appeared on the Colors Berlin platform or when it was featured by the likes of Highsnobiety, and will probably agree that it was quite clearly a banger straight out of the gate. Now that we have been blessed with a video this has well and truly cemented it as one of the best pieces of work Che has gifted us with.

Now, the fact that he took the time to learn how to breath fire for this...

Ladies and gentlemen let me introduce you to Essex rappers Wallace Rice, Alex Osiris and Dream McLean. With Tom Donovan, Cameron Morrell and Johnny Poole on instruments they come together to give us ‘Monster Florence’.

Well, what can I say that their music doesn’t say for them? As a fan of their solo work since the age of 15 or 16, I’ve had to try and contain my excitement at the fact that they’ve decided to join forces and come together...

Musicians

I have something a little different to what I usually bring for you here ladies and gents, but worry not it is something you will definitely enjoy listening to. For those that haven’t heard of them, it is my pleasure to introduce you to ‘The Baskervilles’.

After spending some time travelling across the UK performing shows, finished off with a performance at a BBC Introducing Suffolk showcase, ‘The Baskervilles’ (comprising of...

One of the very first interviews I ever did was with a photographer named Morgan Tedd. From the first day I saw his work I knew that he was an incredibly talented human being, and he is yet to prove me wrong. After seeing him smash every shoot that he is a part of, I was very excited when I found out he was putting his hand to a different form of media. A book.

Now, when I first started thinking about the style of book he would be releasing I was caught between two ideas. One; it would be front to back images that he had taken, or two; knowing that he has a creative mind, it would be a story. Having had the chance to read it, I can confirm...

So, ask yourself this, ‘How much can I achieve in 48hours?’ Like me you may find yourself answering that with, ‘Probably not that much - two days isn’t that long’. But alas, Monster Florence along with Foreign Beggars and a whole plethora of creatives just proved that with the right energy, state of mind and concept you can achieve a whole bunch.

‘48’ is the newest release in the ever-growing list of projects coming out of Essex from the Moflo lads, and this one is already set up to be the best yet.

The group were initially introduced to Foreign Beggars through Dream Mclean after he featured on one of their songs. Clearly, they clicked and felt the need to continue the creative process together, push their limits and...

So, after having it on repeat since the moment it dropped, ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’ by The Baskervilles is definitely my new ‘get up and grab the day by the horns’ song.  If it fails to have you dancing around you room, still wearing your jimjams whilst your hair is still a mess then the best thing for you to do would be to go back to bed, you’re not ready for the day yet.

After leaving us wanting more since their first release, yet again the lads have delivered, and not only with the song.

The visuals for ‘Yeah, Yeah, Yeah’ are gritty...

Allow me to introduce you to a young, exciting musician who goes by the name of ‘Falling Ghost’ aka Danny Sweeney.

After spending some time as a singer/songwriter as part of a band called Sylvia, FG decided it would be best to part ways and enter the world of solo music making. His first release, titled...

If you’re after something out of the ordinary then this is what you have been looking for. Ghosts Of Men have taken us to new heights of visual experience with the help of Samsung's new 360-videoing technology.

I have never experienced a 360-video in its entirety until now and I can honestly say that I bloody love it! The best way to watch it would be sat on an office chair with plenty of space around you so you can...

If you haven’t already heard of the brand KUKI then where have you been for the last year?!

For those that must have been living under a rock allow me to introduce you. The brand is run by two dope ass creative minds, Nico and Eden, who had had enough of seeing mediocre brands make an imprint in the industry. They thought that they could be bigger and better, and that’s exactly what they have done. In just a short 12 months they’ve already surpassed, I think, even anything that they had expected.

A while back I was fortunate enough to pop down to their pop-up (aye, that sounds cool) the day before they were shutting it down, but wasn’t fortunate enough...

When I received an email from Aaron, the bassist for The Baskervilles about their new song Kalashnikov, I already knew that I would put together a review before I had even heard the song.

And I don’t regret that decision.

Kalashnikov is their third release of the year and this one is definitely my favourite. It’s hard hitting, it’s rapid fire and it’s bloody dangerous. It’s exactly what it says on the tin. I’m pretty sure I’ve already pulled a muscle head banging, at minimum I’ve lost a few brain cells that’s for sure.

For the last year or so the guys have been working in the studio with Tom Donovan, whose name you may recognise...

A few of days ago a friend of mine, Carla from Carlana Marketing, got in touch with me and asked if I wanted to do a review for a new artist called ‘XIDONTLIE’. Due to the quality of artists she has introduced to me in the past my reaction was ‘YES!’, and yet again I wasn’t let down. She forwarded on the link so I could hear the album in full before the release and it’s been on repeat since. The only catch was that the album was released only a couple of days later, so I got my ass in gear and started to put pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard, so that the review could somewhat coincide with the release.

So here we are. The album is entitled ‘NAH’ but don’t let that confuse you, if you’re questioning whether you should purchase it then the answer is most definitely yes!

Let me give you a brief history of XIDONTLIE. Now, I don’t know if it’s just my ears playing tricks on me or...
